LED HALO DRL

hi, wanting to do halo ring mod, can anyone help with wiring instructions, shall I just piggy back a fuse, Iv briefly connected wires to battery and yellow to interior light and when unlock they come on and when I lock the go out a few seconds later. But not sure that is the correct way to do or not. Apparently the seller States that with the wiring kit they will recognise when engine is started and light up and when auto lights come on they will go out or when turn engine of whatever happens first.

I would connect yellow to dip beam at the headlight.

do you want the angel eyes to come on when the ignition is turned to on, or only when the headlights are on? if the former, then try to wire the yellow into the fusebox and see if this works (which it should). there are several write-ups about the best slot. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

Whether they are on is automatically detected by the voltage of the engine running.

I assume the yellow wire disables them when lights are on.

Yes they are engine On/off recognition, I just piggy backed left headlight Dip beam fuse to try them and it works a treat, I start engine and approx 5 seconds later they illuminate, switch lights on and they don't go off they reduce brightness 50% and when I turn car off there is approx 10 second delay then they go out. So I think the set up Iv got is exactly how Andy suggests, so now it's just a case of finding the correct dip beam headlight wire to tap into under bonnet. Thanks Andy, Thumbs Up And thanks for all replies. Thumbs Up

Dip beam is pin 11 on the headlight connector.

This is the blue/orange wire on the RHS headlight
blue/purple? on the LHS headlight

I love the look of this - reminds me of my old BMW... are there any kits or conversions like this, suitable for someone with the technical prowess of a sausage roll to fit?

(Although, if I'm honest, I would simply buy the parts and get my garage to sort it...)

I fitted mine myself.
Headlight in oven 190 degrees for 3 mins, then prised lenses apart, then glued rinds to existing headlights, then ran wires out the back of the headlight

Just looking for someone to do my car. I live in warrington. So it would be someone in the manchester/liverpool. Area but open to go somewhere else if needed. Any help would be much appreciated.
