Parking brake fault help

Hi my parking brake module stopped working think the plastic cogs wore out in the module .. ( lights all on on the dash and parking brake fault showing) I replaced the module with a new one it came new cables and all put it in the Jeep I can now put the handbrake on and off with the diagnosis computer .. I use a snap on computer by the way .. it will let me apply the handbrake on and off but as soon as I plug it out the lights flash on dash saying handbrake fault .. I thought next thing it was a faulty switch so I replaced the switch and still the same problem lights flashing and no handbrake 😒😒 ..Am lost as what to do next I think only other thing could be a wire broke going down but then again don’t think it would work with the computer. Also checked the fuse it seems ok . Anyone else have this problem can help me out please before I crack up ..

I'll say it before somebody else does, but if you have fitted it to a Jeep I think you fitted it to the wrong vehicle, which could explain why it doesn't work:lol:

They are saying it’s a Range Rover and not a Jeep. My jeep is a real jeep at 77 years young.

Does the new handbrake module not need calibrating? 2012 5.0 SC AB

Having recently had a EPB module fitted to my MY10 RRS, it does need to be re-calibrated. Your Snap-on tool may not be able to do that (mine was done at a local indi who had a bloke who does all the electrickery stuff for him).
