AFS Both lights are pointing down.

I have a RRS 2005 SC and noticed that my left headlamp was very high and my right was maximum down. No warning on the instrument panel. At start up I could see that only the left light was moving L/R and during driving the right light on the road infront of me was following my steering/cornering.

I took out the the big lamphousing and tryed to see if anything was wrong inside and cleaned the el-contact, on both sides.
After that I had the yellow warning flashing on the dash. But no change to the lamps.

I put my IID-tool in and found 2 faults on headlight:
B1A57-01 (AF) Left headlamp levelling motor - General failure information - general electrical failure.
U1A39-87 (AF) Communication malfunction of right actuator - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message

When I cleared the faults I saw my left light went down to max low.
Now my both lights are stuck in low pos.
I have both faults now but I can clear the left but it comes back. For the right side the fault is permanent.

I t is a problem during darkness as I have only 10meters of light in front of the RRS.

I donĀ“t know where to continue searching for the problem. Big Cry

Test that left motor and fix that issue first. It may just sort the lost signal on the right. 2012 5.0 SC AB

I have solved the right lamp, it was probably a bad connection in the socket or the wiring behind.

The left side headlamp swiveling feedback sensor circuit was also giving a fault.
It was not possible to fix that. We tried a lamp unit from my friends RRS and it worked OK.

I found a used Lamp unit in Sweden and now it is running as it should.

Thanks for support.
