Suspension will raise when system cooled

Hi guys,

My partners 2011 stormer edition is showing this message and seems to be stuck in access height.

She's never uses the air suspension and today whilst driving I pressed access height as we were going into a multi story car park. It will not raise. Drove home and was a very bumpy ride but no speed limit etc.

It's has been parked up for hours now but still same message. We have had no issues or warnings prior to this.

Is there anything I can do to reset the system? It can't be overheating after being parked up for about 6-7 hours surely.

Any help appreciated.

Did they make a Stormer Edition in 2011? I thought the Stormer was the earlier pre facelift.

Anyhow, I think you need to have the codes read and cleared. The compressor maybe overheated and it won’t work until the codes cleared. Even if it cleares it will probably come back again. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Yeah they brought out a final stormer edition for 2011 & 2012 models.

Is there a way to clear codes without hooking up to dealer diagnostics. I only have a basic fault code reader which reads the engine ecu.

Hi,

i think a hard reset might clear (cant promise)

disconnect battery for 10 mins (make sure you wait ten mins) and then short/touch the battery leads together whilst still disconnected from the battery. you can then connect the battery.

the 10 mins allows any stored charge to dissipate, if you don't wait you can damage the control units.

the full procedure is in the hand book.

Re: Suspension will raise when system cooled

As said best way is full diagnostic maybe by an iid
But
A reset has to be worth a try it you have no other option
Does it sound like the compressor is running all the time? You could have an air leak and the pump can not raise the car

As for
