I'd like some more information as well please

It's not banging bass we're after, just a quality sound, treble is just as important

I had the same issue of vibration and rattle but both are relatively easy to fix and I have put a post in tips and tricks to explain.

To be honest, i think the standard stereo is more than adequate for the sport. Its not the sort of motor you usually see driving around town centres with its windows thumping away.

so thats why the local boyracers gave me funny looks at the traffic lights with a bit of ELO blasting out drowning their "Xfactors rejects CD "

When I used to drive a Saab, 'the done thing' in that situation was to wind-down the windows, blast out the theme from The Archers and politely acknowledge the youngsters with a raise of a briar pipe whilst zooming past them.

This guy has a rotary subwoofer with his living-room as a box.

Nice work!!!

I personally hate the look of a sub box sitting in the back but I'm not an audiophile and prefer the aggressive purr of the engine over music. On that note. I really want to swap out the stock sub speaker for something that sounds better. Mine is starting to age and gurgle when it gets a little loud.

It's easy, the only pain in the butt is removing and replacing the trim. Take the opportunity to dampen the surfaces and sub cavity as well.
