Last December, Pentland Land Rover flagged up that I needed new front discs & pads as well as brake pipes at a cost of £835 on a 2015my Sport that had only done 6000miles. I declined their generous offer & had Disco_Mikey look at them. He said their was some corrosion on the inner faces but nothing to worry about. Fast forward 8 months & 1000 miles. I decided to have them done by Disco_Mikey. They were done today at less than half of Pentlands quote, not only that they were cheaper than his original quote as he said they took a shorter time than he thought. What a terrific person & honest. He also said the pipes did not require doing & would be ok for at least a couple of years. It just shows that the main dealers main aim is to maximise their profit at any cost. He has a very busy garage but customer satisfaction seems to be his main goal & he certainly achieves that.
He will be my first call for any future work on my car.
