Stuck behind a Lorry check your radiators for hay

My son and I were coming home from Salisbury today and a hay lorry pulled out in front of us and I couldn't get by because of traffic. I settled back some distance until I could and once at home my son commented on the hay strewn on the front of the car. I had a look through the grill and the whole top half of the radiator was covered in a layer of hay Shocked . I pulled off the grill to clear as best as I could but had to pop out again so will revisit it again tomorrow. I recall the hay coming off but wow, I wish I'd taken a photo to show you all but I didn't have the time.....

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I fitted an HST honeycomb grille to my TDv8 HSE and had to modify it with a roller blind of net curtain because I got a radiator blocked by squillions of flies and bugs after a long motorway haul one summer. In the end I reverted to the standard grille and had no more cleaning problems or high coolant temperatures. Now it isn’t an issue when running in EV mode........... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
