As you can see from the photo the clips are coming loose and I’m always banging it back on

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

I found on my old TDV8 that once the trim has been pinged off - probably causing a slight twist somewhere in the moulding - those clips don't work very well. Use the solid clips such as DYC500110.

The problem with the yellow and white clips is that they come apart - this is intentional, obviously - but once there is any twist or damage in the external moulding, they clips aren't strong enough. The solid ones are better as they are, well, solid.

I used the solid ones after having tried the yellow and white ones (having resorted to duct tape to hold the mouldings on!) and the mouldings stayed on.

Don't use mastic - if they still come off you'll have a hell of a job cleaning it all up before refitting. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Amazing , hanks so much.

I’ve ordered them via eBay. The yellow ones are a pig to get out. Used a screw driver and her to break them up 2006 RRS Supercharged 4.2 HST muthuaflecka!
