I have just had the detachable Tow bar kit fitted on my 2014 L494 by Hatfield Landrover. £1000 When it came back after fitting (Tow bar removed) when you stand at the rear of the car you can see the structural parts of the tow bar. It looks amateurish and unsightly. Surely there must be a cover to install when you remove the tow bar, like the previous RRS. Please see photo ?

don't know about that version, but the type of removable bar they can fit now (ours fitted 9 months ago) is a different design and you can put the original cover back on if you move the 13 pin socket slightly.
No one even knows a bar is fitted then
even with the bar part removed it looks better as receiver is up behind the cover panel now

Wow!! That’s horrendous. I got a detachable towbar fitted to mine and the standard cover with no cutout fits over when the bar is removed would never know it has one fitted. I’d be well if they gave me mine back like that. 2015 HSE Dynamic, black, 22’s
