New to GAP insurance - HELP

Hi Guys

I didn’t take gap insurance with my last cars.

Looking at 2 companies that I’ve seen on other threads.

Ala.co.uk - Quoted £318 for 4 yrs on MY18, it covers for £40k.

Directgap.co.uk - £219 4yrs coveting £30k.

Thanks

GAP Insurance help

It’s business contract hire - what do I need to look for?

Thanks

i honestly don't know if business contract hire makes a difference

but you want to look at getting the same standard of car back in the event of theft including any trade in/deposit and cover any shortfall from what the contract hire company say is out standarding and what the insurers are offering

speak with ALA, they were great when i was wanting advice

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Hi Adam

I took out a GAP policy for my 2018MY Sport with Warranty Direct. They seemed to be offering a competitive deal at the time (end January) so may be worth a look?

Not sure if Business Contract Hire affects things but the Warranty Direct Gap Insurance web site may help.

I have found a wide range of prices for £79.5k over 3 years Back to Invoice
ALA £394
Car2Cover £330
Gap insurance.co.uk £340
Warranty Direct £226 or £288 for 4 years
and of course good old LR is £499

As with any insurance I don't want to skimp, ALA has good reviews, any experience of the others would be welcome.

For the last RRS I used LR own as they gave me a good discount but they have changed underwriter and there is now no negotiation.
