camshaft sprocket

thanks but I've took the 3 bolts out, and the pulley back part is still bolted to the camshaft by the centre bolt and the pulley will fit in 3 different position and the manual doesn't say.

Why was the pulley removed? Confused

With the cam locked in position, the mark on the pulley goes to the 10/11 o’clock position (as viewed from the rear of the engine)

Will get it close enough at that to retime the pump Thumbs Up

Thanks for your help, I'm still a bit confused about how to lock the camshaft in position, I will look at the manual, I have noted today that the part on the camshaft as an arrow on it, and I know that the sprocket as a marker line on it, should they line up Exclamation To cars had a small battery fire, and the belt cover is one of the parts that I've changed.
Thanks again

If you didn’t lock the cam shaft, I’d be a little worried that your timing will be out. Have you disassembled the belt, pulley and tensioner? 2012 5.0 SC AB
