After a few days of owning my 4.2SC the rear PDC decided to stop working..

When putting the car into reverse I was greeted with a long beep and a flashing PDC light...

Without access to a code reader I decided to buy a spare PDC sensor in preparation to stripping the bumper down yesterday..
I listened for the clocking noise at each sensor when the car was in reverse and identified the right hand middle sensor was not working.

Yesterday I had a couple of hours spare and stripped down the bumper and I found a heavily corroded and broken wire (see picture).. A quick strip back and solder and all was good again... the rear sensor wasn’t needed.. I am sure it will come in handy in the future..
