wow finally after all you have been through - congrats! Thumbs Up

Now i know what mine will look like as went for some colour combo and think mine has moved to build now with delivery June/July.

Be good to hear what your first impressions are against your 'very brief' ownership of the previous one!

more pics will be cool when sun is out Smile

Hi to one and all

Just got back home, so will try and get more pictures this weekend. Whilst I was away I had it detailed and it looks fabulous !

Get back to you soon.

Has anyone had this? Driving through Slough on Sunday, I had a car sitting by the side of me taking pictures, of the car.. When I looked at them and noted there number plate they took off. Just worried I am being lined up for a possible theft !!

Any thoughts?
Cheers

Hi Tim

Nice comment. Probably right. I was more worried about potential car theft.

Tim

Whilst thinking, my insurance company have requested a 2nd tracker. Any input would be welcomed.

Folks on here rate the Ghost system quite highly but whether or not the insurers will accept it is a different matter....... might be worth asking your insurer if they have any specific brand that they require before you do anything. I’ve had good experiences with Tracker branded trackers - usually to tell me that the car battery has died and has alerted them rather than that it has been stolen! With Tracker the lifetime (and also transferable) contract was also a reasonable price when I had them fitted to 2 x Evoques and an L322 FFRR and thenlifetime fee was transferable to the next owner when I sold the car on. Since 2014 i’ve Relied solely on the LR In Control Secure system as my insurers have not required anything additional. There are plenty showing in a google search - Tracker is here http://www.tracker.co.uk/for-your-vehicle/car-tracking/

Nod

My car (same spec as yours) is due end of June at the moment and I've bought the TRACKER Cat 5 Plus for piece of mind. I've had in past on another car and, whilst I've got gap insurance also , so why would I want the car returned if stolen 🤔 it does help lower insurance for me anyhow plus I would want the Censored caught if they touched any property of mine and Tracker (which police have software in various patrol cars) would do so very quickly if came to it. MY18 Range Rover Sport SVR (18' - current)

cat 5 trackers (I’ve had a few on various cars) whilst they are good, they aren’t hard to over come,
And quite a few thefts they have been simply ripped out and dumped somewhere or signal blocked.

Trackers are handy as a reactive measure but I d caution anybody to be sensible and invest wisely in preventative measures.

Hi to one and all

Sorry I have not posted any more photos but I have been away quite a bit recently and have not had much time. Will try over the weekend, although I am sure the other members receiving theirs will post their own photos.

Just thought I would write a quick update on my car. I have had it nearly 2 months now and I have to report there have been no issues whatsoever, other than some minor cosmetic points.

I can quite honestly say that I am extremely impressed with her she is as good if not (dare I say it) much better than my 2017 model. I appreciate the loudness has been toned down but once you hit the 'GO' it becomes the lion that roars.

Regarding the seats, I find them much more comfortable than last years and a better finish. Thumbs Up

Te shape whilst slightly more rounded is fair more appealing to the eye, in MYO Thumbs Up

The handling, is definitely more superior than the 2017 model. Whilst it still has the lift on take off acceleration it is far more positive on the corners. Thumbs Up

So all in all, I am absolutely delighted and wish to openly thank JLR Exec Office for their help in obtaining my vehicle but also the after care follow up has been superb. Bow down Bow down

Cheers to you all
