1st Service coming up and......

Called the stealer yesterday as my car has been counting down to its first service since it clocked 6000km when it said 2000 km to service and just 300 km later it says service due. Maybe it’s because it’s a June 1st from December 1st 6 month delivery anniversary or it has trouble with maths.

Initially stealer said no service slot with a loan car was available until 29 June, 1 month to book a service with a loan car? Shocked After asking them to call back when they could do better, within a few minutes I had a call back with a slot available within a week.

Good job, as I found 2 small spots of oil on the garage floor today, not good for a 6 month old car with 6000km. I will also be asking them to look at a slightly mis aligned tailgate and a developing creak in the driver’s seat cushion when going over a speed bump.

After 6 months with the SC, its a nice car, but I don’t love it like I thought I would. I miss my M3.

I see where you`re coming from. My s/c is a 2006 so not new like yours but I`ve soon fallen out of "love" with it and I definately miss my last car. Don`t miss my M3 though...that was more unreliable than the sport Laughing Steve.

Every high performance car tend to be unreliable if you don.t know how to use them. i.e full trottle when an engine is cold. RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Lux
RRS 3.0 TDV6 gone
LR 3 HSE V8 gone
DiscoveryII V8 Gone
Discovery 1 V8 Gone
Mustang Shelby
Alfa Guilia (classic)

Well we will see what happens on Friday. I am a bit worried about drips of oil (on my lovely painted garage floor), None of my previous RRS or BMWs have dropped oil, let alone after 6 months.
