Only driving 30 miles a week around town in a diesel

Will the DPF mess up if i only die 30 miles a week in and around London?

We generally only do 20odd miles a week and so far have never had a problem, but I do add Wynn's extreme clean twice a year. It does seem to work so far. MY12 RRS HSE

Unless you have done the same sort of driving without adding the Wynns and then compared the outcome, you can't say that the Wynns has any effect what so ever. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

30 miles a week? You need a push bike, not a 2.5 tonne SUV. Alternatively the bus, or walk. Or an EV charged at home and so avoiding any of the emissions charges. A RRS is just about the most "wrong" vehicle for 30 miles a week. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Would be cheaper and less hassle to rent an RRS from one of the big rental companies when you want to make a longer journey and buy a 12 months Old Renault Zoe for £5000 and pay the £70pm battery rental cost. This assumes that you have off street parking to be able to charge it though! Latest Zoe’s have >110 miles range so you would only need to charge it once or twice a month on a public charger in a car park if you don’t have access to a home charger. If you are mostly solo driving then the Renault Twizzy would be an even more cost effective town car. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
