Personally I think some responses are a bit harsh - the Sport was there for 30 days - a phone call after a few days advising that the building work was taking place & that pigeons had fouled the vehicle might be considered good communication. In the digital age maybe even a few photos to add to the urgency at least forewarning the owner of what he can expect on collection of the vehicle. Just my opinion  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Think the dealer has been more than fair.... unfortunately no dealership has the facilities to keep vehicles undercover and inside .... the car has suffered the fate of any car parked in normal atmospheric conditions... rain dust and bird poo....

The dealership was trying to do the right thing given its condition and were asking for permission to clean it before collection..
It is a 4x4 and should be more than used to those conditions...

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, the motive behind the sign requesting for it not to be washed was sound but the situation changed and the dealership took your request a little too literally.

Hope it gets resolved / cleaned ASAP.
