Well I get it Muddy, I love cars with soul. My M3 had soul, I loved the fact that I looked at a gap in traffic squeezed and I was there. I have yet to find the real soul in the SC, I like it, but it’s taking a while to love. I don’t know if I will to be honest.

I think my old 2010 had more soul and the M3 definitely did. I miss them both.

I always thought the Lexus was a tad boring for you and I think I even posted it. So, get an Aston if you want one, they have soul, even if it’s a troubled one Laughing

I had a brief trip in one of the development cars back when the Vantage first came out. I would buy one for the noise alone. The engine sounds fantastic at full bore - proper V8 with a howl added. Lovely. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi I have had 7 Aston’s to date 5 of them V8 Vantages, the only one i wouldn’t buy again is the sportshift otherwise I would definitely recommend one,I have never had any major issues with mine, and to be honest wouldn’t worry about running one without a warranty. 2014 RRS AB 5.0

Cheers everyone for the comments so far - Yes - they do sound incredible Bow down

When I was at Gaydon for the launch of the Supercharged RRS1 we were served a fantastic lunch in a marquee on the test track and there were a few AMs flying round the track - it was bliss Mr. Green

The head and heart are battling - I can get an F Type for similar money, 7 years newer with a 2 year warranty and lower running costs but if I do I'll probably still wish I got the Vantage Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

No need to say who this is for Rolling with laughter

So how's the Bond Bug doing? is it 00 something, or still Milko ? In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Still milko at moment Laughing

Been busy with other things but swmbo has given her seal of approval to either Jag or AM - she just wants me to finish works to the house first and get better Confused

We've just had the barn/garage reroofed and the cost doubled from £25k to £53k as we uncovered issues so she makes a good point Embarassed

We've still got heating, wiring, damp, windows and redecorating to sort in the old part - that's the problem with buying 350 year old farmhouses Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
