I would say thanks for posting this but has just made me panic a bit more! It seams the 0-60 times for the SDv8 have changed, could just be a miss type as guessing that this isn't suppose to be live just yet? There are also a few other odd things e.g. MY18
autobiography comes as standard with Suadecloth headlining and Pan roof but this configurator seams to imply they aren't standard?

Any news on your build yet?

None yet no.

Also thats the global config so a lot of those options we don't get in the UK market so take it all with a pinch of salt.

That said the MY19 options are now visible amongst all the other stuff.

Ah good point, hopefully it will be similar to the velar then minor improvements, nothing major.

Interesting you haven't heard about yours yet, today I was advised mine had been re added as a MY19 not sure why that needed to happen, am also concerned that there are quite a few options missing from my original order on the info they have sent me.

Would love mine to come in July, imagine it's unlikely though but really fed up not having a car now!!

I think mine is either just before or just after the switch over with it being built towards the end of June/start of July.

I'm looking into it and seeing what they say and yeah can imagine it gets a bit much not being with a car !!

The international site is 0-100kph 0-62mph, so allow half a second less for 0-60. I didn’t look at RRS but FFRR and I have a feeling they used to quote Vogue 0-60 but now they quote AB 0-60, which is slower due to all the extra fitted options like sliding roof, massage gubbins, bigger hifi etc etc which all add up the kgs? L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

Could be although previously the SDV8 was only available with AB spec (at least in the uk) so assumed they use to quote the AB time as the weight made sense to explain the small difference for a much bigger engine previously 6.5 (SDV8) 6.8 (SDV6)

Wow! They've removed a few standard features in the new Config.

ACC with Steering Assist seems to be the only additional functionality in MY19. I have this on my SQ7 at the moment. It's good in slow traffic but because it reminds you to touch the steering wheel every 1 minute if you go above 30 mph, it's a pain in the a*se when using at higher speeds. Therefore I never really use it.

Unless I'm eating a McDonalds and looking at my emails....

Just kidding...

ACC on the other hand, I cannot do without. On motorways, it's a Godsend.

From the 5.0SC AB spec I recently ordered, it appears these are now NOT standard:

Sliding pano roof
ACC with queue assist
Heated steering wheel
Keyless entry (seriously?)
DAB Radio (seriously???)
22 Way seats (only 16 now?)
Secure Tracker
Powered Gesture Tailgate
Leather Steering wheel with Chrome Bezil (now Atlas)

(If anyone can spot anything else missing, let me know please!)

Checking with my dealer on whether my order is good as is (including all these features standard). I'm assuming that my order is an MY18 order.

It seems they are using this method to increase prices.

You’re looking at the HSE which is not available in 5.0 in the U.K. You need to look at the Autobiography model. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

Oh, ok, I see the issues now. Although 22 way seats are standard.

Perhaps keyless being an option is to address security concerns?

Then again this international site is not a reliable indicator of what the final UK spec will be, I feel. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

Yes, sorry, AB has 22 Way seats.

Keyless - good point, growing concern over theft using RFID tactics. Have keys in a tin box now with a vein hope that this overcomes the situation.

Oh, f*ck. I thought I was looking at the UK site. Well pointed out!

Seems the spec is still as is...

^^^

Someone posted an article on here where an organisation called ADAC had recently tested 108 vehicles with keyless entry and the Range Rover Discovery came out the best.

It was mentioned JLR have quietly changed their technology for all MY18 vehicles to deter theft in this manner.

Lucky My18 owners...

How is Spotify hosted through InControl Apps?

Does it work well? On iPhone and Android?

Just wondered as I test drive one and couldn’t get my Samsung S8 to work InControl Apps. Kept telling me the connection wouldn’t work.

Interested to hear feedback....

I don't think Spotify works 'through' the InControl apps?

Silly questions but if you only test drove the car how was your S8 synched with InControl and was their a SIM inserted into the slot in the vehicle?

I recently bought an RRS, added a SIM then registered the vehicle within InControl after I signed up and it works fine.

Just to let everyone know looks like the updated configuration went live this morning. Unsurprisingly the changes match the thoughts from RRSman

Cool

I have just spec'd my car up as per my MY18 and it's gone up by £3647!!!!! Bloody insane - I got my 22'' wheel for £270 it's now nearly £810 Laughing

I am talking like for like nothing new for the MY19 has been added to the spec of my MY18

The fancy steering cruise control is only available as part of the Driver Assistance Pack at £3300

Massage seats were £800 and are now £2640 Big Cry

Painful!
