Land Rover experience West Country

I have a half day Landrover experience to book up which I got when I bought my sport and was considering doing it at the West Country site as this is only a few miles away from where my parents are in Devon so could make a few days of it and see my parents at the same time.

Has anyone done the experience there and is it any good ? As my nearest one would be Luton but not read many good reviews on that so thought the West Country site might be a better one to try. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

Done Honiton one ages ago. Would recommend Eastnor which is a bit further but it's the home of LR testing and is a much nicer site Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Luton is rather small and unexciting.......... If you can, upgrade to a full day at Eastnor and book into the Feathers Hotel in Ledbury (about 10 minutes drive from the LRE) to pamper your wife/partner. Full day bookings at Eastnor take you over a vast part of the estate that you just cannot cover on the half day, and you get a "free" lunch picnic. Otherwise I would suggest trying to get to the factory LRE at Solihull which is pretty good even though it is also a small site. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I thought it was excellent. Good facilities, and a really challenging course. I'd recommend extending for the full day, though.

I'm thinking of booking a half day at the West Country LR Experience. Has anyone else got experience or views of this location? Robin

Haven't done the West Country LRE site but did do one of their self drive days. The instructors were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I have no doubt that they would give you a good experience. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Cheers RRSTDV8. It’s near some friends so thought of making a long weekend of it. But their web site doesn’t entice. Let’s hope it’s just the web site and not the location. Robin

Had the half day session at LR Experience West Country on Monday morning. What an excellent day! Graham, my instructor was first class, explaining things as we went along and allowing me to find out what was the best way to deal with the hazards as they arose. I had a grin on my face from the moment it started until after it finished. Thoroughly recommended Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Robin
