I have got nothing to compare it with but I bought and self-installed a thinkware F770 and find it good. I see that there are other dash cams out there for less money but have no way of knowing how they compare with things like quality of picture (especially at night). There's no point in buying one, if when you come to need it, you can't see the recorded picture.
