United States 2007 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Alaska White
P2098 and Hose info


Please help , Have a 2007 RRS HSE have P2098 code Mechanic says O2 sensors look good , that error may be a Vacuum leak
found loose hose no idea where it goes.
Please someone look in the engine and locate the hose and connection

Isn't that the battery vent pipe? It vents the hydrogen produced during charging away from the battery/fuse box etc. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Check around the throttle body/rear of plenum chamber for any loose pipes, not sure about the 4.4, but on the 4.2 there is an air pressure sensor that can blow off with age.

Ok, I have a 2007 RRS HSE , Throws code P2098 lean trim post cat bank 2.
I connected scanner short term trim normal until I press gas it jumps up to 12-14 temporarily , I let go it drops to normal.
Also when I let go of gas rpm drops too much engine vibrates and goes back to normal.
Please advise , I looked for vac leak cant seem to find it. put Seafoam gas treatment in the tank no visible result.
any advise will be appreciated.
