hi piggysniffer if u are the guy with the cluster in tode fridge, phined a guy in rugby total tronics.com he said his partner company in Manchester can reprogramme your replacement cluster, and he advises that he wouldent recommend reprogramming a second hand one as they can last for a year or five years something to do with crystal display, if you want to give him a ring 01788247470 told him about your icepack so he will know who you are if it cant be done they wont charge.just ordered a optical loop and sent a message with problems and they said loads of same problems with rrs seems to be Bluetooth seal leaking and running down to modules in boot side so I have to start there and work my way round until I find the fault, hope this can help you.

just to let everyone know, firstly thank you everyone who helped me in my time of need ,i sent the range rover to a indy specialist after phoning him and going over all the problems ,he asked about everything and said HE WILL BET 50 QUID ITS INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, HE WAS SICK OF PEOPLE RIPPING OFF RANGE ROVER OWNERS OVER THIS SAME GROUP OF FAULTS SPENDING HUNDREDS OF POUNDS< AND PROBLEM STILL THERE<ITS THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
.so I bit the bullet and off she went the day after I got a phone call from andy at maltings its your instrument cluster, the jeep is fine now new instrument and programmed .Done forty odd miles in her, and what a dream to drive .I was gonna get all faults done and get rid but its such a nice bird I think I will keep her for a while, its the same old story u pay for luxury. TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HAD THE PROBLEMS AND HEADACHES ON ALL FOUR OF THESE PAGES ,DONT THROW PARTS AT YOUR RANGIE, REPLACE THE EASY CHEAP THINGS, LIKE FOOT BRAKE SWITCH, AND ALL THE REST OF THE EASY CHECKS, LIKE BATTERY CHARGE, BROKEN LOOSE WIRES, PLUGS, THEN GET IT TO A REPUTABLE SPECIALIST WHO HAS GOOD NAME AND REPUTATION, BE CAREFULL, DONT READ INTERNET WRITE UPS, OR LISTEN TO RECOVERY PEOPLE, DO YOUR HOME WORK, AND ABOVE ALL, DONT CRAP YOURSELF LIKE I DID.THANKS ONCE AGAIN, TO ALL THE PEOPLE ON HERE LIKE PADD,I AND DISCO MIKE, AND EVERYOUE WHO HAS HAD A INPUT IN MY TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE BLESS YOU ALL AND I AM EVER SO GRATEFULL.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Great that you have everything fixed up and are now enjoying these great vehicles.

For gawd sake don’t ever try booking your Sport into an indie LR specialist calling it a Jeep......... you will severely confuse the poor fella. Jeep are a crude American SUV and jeeps are a WW2 General Purpose Vehicle.. Be proud of the fact that you own a BRITISH Range Rover (albeit one based on a Discovery 3.....) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Austria 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Hi all,

I have bought my Range Rover Sport 2,7 2009 two months ago. Everything was fine BUT, I am reading and still cannot believe that I have a same problem right now. Two weeks ago outside was a circa 35C temp and my wife didn't found original keys and she tried to start the car with reserve key. At first didn't start but second time she started the car. After three days I wanted to drive a car but wont start. Now I have a problem with starting. Sometimes is ok sometimes absolutely wont start, got all lamps on and wont start. Currently want start at all. I tried hard reset, I didn't change battery just put out cables from clamps and put it back, wont start, but I have noticed on clamps sparks when I return cables... I am not so big expert but I want first to try alone to fix it. I read everything, but I need some instructions where I could find all those sensors to check for corrosion.... etc etc... Thanks guys. All best from Austria...
