I don’t have the list, it is on here somewhere. The engines were improved making the tax go down and bhp/ torque go up. Also get the gesture tailgate and some other stuff. Worth a google, there are a few articles from when it was released (I’ve just bought a 65 plate) Range Rover Sport HSE DYnamic SDV6 Velocity blue 2020 MY

It wasn’t, I’ve just spent weeks looking for one. It goes on the 15 reg onwards model and was fitted on all the 306bhp ones I looked at (some 15 plates and all 65 plates had it). It’s on mine which is a Sept 15 model. Range Rover Sport HSE DYnamic SDV6 Velocity blue 2020 MY

For the SDV6, the differences are as follows:

Euro6 306hp/700nm engines started to come in from MY15.5 (March 2015) ready for the mandatory switch over in September 2015, so you will find EU6 in some MY15.5 15 plates, but not all. MY16 started Sep 2015 on the 65 plate, all MY16 cars are Euro6.

Euro 6 legislation had to be implemented by all manufacturers by the 1st of September 2015, which meant they couldn't sell anything 'new' that wasn't compliant after that date. LR started to make the switch in March for MY15.5, and by September they had everything in place for the MY16. So because EU6 was mandatory from September 2015, but LR started to introduce the EU6 engine in March 2015 (MY15.5), some 15 plate cars are EU5 and some are EU6. To confuse matters even further the LR website sometimes doesn't get the right classification for EU5/EU6 engine, so it doesn't display correctly for some cars, worth double checking though if it's a 15 plate car you're interested in.

All Euro6 engines are 306hp/700nm, 185 g/km, £240pa road fund. If you live in London EU6 is not subject to the T-Charge (well mine isn't anyway|).

On the AB, MY15/My15.5 have the same spec/controls inside.

All Terrain Progression Control, Auto Access Height, Hands Free gesture tailgate and Wifi were all made standard for MY16 on the AB over MY15/15.5. Plus MY16 got the Software Interface update for the ICE system and some dash button relocating.

HTH SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

Sept 15 would be a MY16 vehicle, wouldn't it? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yes, mine's a 15.5 model and was built in March 2015. No gesture tailgate.

Was HUD available on MY15?

Bringing up this old topic. I have double checked and my car is the 306hp engine although it comes up as a Euro5 - it doesn't have adblue. Can this be right?

Yes it can! My old RRS was built in May 2015 (15 Registration) and was 306HP without AdBlue. It also showed up on ToPix as Euro 5!!!

So what is the difference between our engines and Euro 6 ones (apart from the adblue) - don't they both have CO₂Emission of 185g/km?
