Spec for a new RRS?

Looking to purchase an RRS in a few months to replace my RRE. I look at second hand and new vehicles and if it is worth considering a new RRS. However a limited budget would make the spec limited, so what are the thoughts on the following spec:

RRS 3.0d HSE Dynamic,
White (with ebony interior)
Sliding Pano Roof
Privacy Glass
Auto Dim Mirrors (added because of adding a pack)
Drive Pack (basic)
Park Pack (basic)

I would merrily spec up several thousand worth of extras but feel the above covers most bases, but is it missing anything that is a must?

I personally wouldn't bother with either the drive or park pack. My key requirements were full size spare wheel, auto dipping exterior mirrors added as a stand alone accessory, large washer bottle and heated steering wheel plus the pano roof.

RRS sold and replaced with a Skoda Kodiaq after appalling RR Dealer experience and LR inability to supply new cars in any sort of reasonable time frame..

5 year service pack & full size spare. The spare seamed a no brainer cost wise when I bought mine

I would get a fixed pano roof, saving over Β£500. The cheaper options that are worth having in my view are:

Full size spare
Possibly extra wash bottle
Privacy glass
60:40 load through seats
HEATED STEERING WHEEL - get this.

I like the drive pro pack (especially adaptive cruise and blind spot monitor). The park pack (360 degree monitors) may be worthwhile but the park assist in the park pro pack is a waste of time. You can consider the better audio, but the basic one is fine for me. I have the meridien and never have the volume over 6 (out of 50). Obviously if you tow, the tow pack may be required.

If you're buying on PCP or leasing, it is sometimes worth just getting the next model up (autobiography). RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Thanks for the response. I must admit the V8 is very tempting and has taken a substantial depreciation. I have only ever bought 1 new car, all the rest have been between 8 and 24 months old (RRE was an ex LR management vehicle). I intend to keep the RRS for a long time using PCP to finance and then refinance the balance.

August is when the serious search commences as other commitments (paying off my mortgage by then) takes priority.

I agree too, get the fixed roof, save Β£500 and you won't get the crossbar cutting out any extra light...... Thumbs Up 2010 RR 5.0 Autobiography

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

substitute one of the metallic paints for the park pack and drive pack, they can go wrong, paint doesn’t often fail.......... and an upmarket car looks better in metallic paint. If the car has to sit outside all the time the heated steering wheel is a no-brainer, it is brilliant on a cold morning. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
