United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Well when choosing them I selected my vehicle first then it showed me all the rims for that vehicle.
I'll do some research.

Just had a look a set of genuine 21" SVR rim's I have in the garage and they are marked 950KG. but might not be fair comparison.

Cheers

It's all the pot holes that we have on our roads after this hard winter that is a killer on some substandard after market wheels and I guess you won't know how good yours are until you hit a pothole.
I would also be careful of buying used genuine painted wheels. You will never know if they had been damaged in the past and badly repaired. Once painted you will never know.

Just stumbled across this post, very smart and by coincidence have made the same mods, yet your are more advanced (interior)than me, plus its very clean.

RE alloys, Im refurbing my own (standard) and will powder coat them black estimated at £500 worse case, due to all the reasons already quoted, first tho comes sorting out the bushes

Great project, keep us updated

Hi Nobby,

Yeah I was considering getting the wheels powder coated gloss black and got quoted £100 a wheel, but then I was also considering changing the tyres to 285/45 as apposed to the 275/40 to fill the arch a bit more.

But by the time I worked out the costs, it was only a couple of hundred short of the price of new 22" with 285/35, so I went for the 22".

I'll get some before and after pictures of them fitted this weekend.

I don`t know why people say 22`s give a worse ride. The ride in mine is fine...if anything I`d prefer it a little stiffer....the ride Thumbs Up Steve.

^^^

Have to agree. I went from 20" to 22" and had no issues with the ride, maybe some people notice it more than others?
