In all fairness to Tom at Stratford Landrover he has contacted me this morning and agreed to rectify all the issues, I would rather keep the car as I do love it but just want it issue free! You must of been extremely lucky to get a trouble free one! Have you had no issues at all with your screens?

Lol that is a fair point Lee. I have hardly used it. It has been locked in my garage and under a cover apart from two 100 mile round trips!

I think the first big problem I will have with mine is going to be a dead battery

Lee , sorry to hear this , bodywork problems as well. I,m worried now.

Jas,s is car is perfect, its been to the detailers and then sat in his heated garage, of course, it all works.

Gents in all seriousness you can instantly reject your car up to 30days from delivery for a full refund, as long as you do have actual faults of course, however after that it’s a bit more hassle, my 17my AB has been in the dealers for nearly 2 weeks now to try & cure the software faults, it’s nearly 5 months old now & had the issues from week 1, I wish I’d rejected it then as it’s been a saga since collection, once I get it back if it plays up again it will be rejected.

Lee if they get you over the 30days, even if the faults have been there from delivery, you can still reject up to 6 months old, however you must give them at least 1 attempt to fix each issue, after that the burden of proof falls to the buyer not the seller which makes it harder still.

The longer you keep it the lesser the chance of getting a full refund.

It should be going in sometime this week, I see on another post that somebody else has had the update done and it’s cured the issues as well as changing some of the graphics slightly so we will have to see if it cures mine! Will update you when it’s been in  2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

My sports at the dealers wiaiting for patch released on Friday to be applied to it

The more I read these 'posts' the more and more worried I get. I really don't think I could go through a second rejection

I do agree with JPR that something should be done and in this day of internet and available information. These errors and problems should be reported collectively to JLR senior management. The question is how to get past Executive Office.

But if anyone has the time, I will present all my documentation, letters, email and photos to the pot.

If on receipt of my new car, I find it has to be rejected, I shall forward the whole damn lot to whoever, via email and media to anyone I can think of in the Motoring Press.

Being an accountant, I look at numbers and if you just take the moans, groans and rejections on here, it adds up to several million pounds worth. Which further begs the query of how many people out there besides this forum have rejected their cars or are being fed the usual twoddle from the dealerships???

I am also disappointed at the reduction in exhaust levels and the crackle and pop. I know it is trivial, but hey thats we SVR owners love....

Going to get on to the dealer now and see what the latest episode of Jackanory is.

Will keep you all posted.
