TDV8 Turbo problem! Split Pipe coming out of MAF box???

Hi all

My RRS is driving terrible at the minute. Theres no power like theres no turbos. I have noticed a split on the right hand turbo MAF pipe which goes up to the box on left hand side of engine bay. Is this the problem? It is also leaking some oil.

We may need a little more info...

Down on power all the time?
Intermittently?
Where is the oil leak from?
How much oil has it lost?
Any smoke out the back?

Down on power all the time. When started from cold it produced a fair amount of whiteish/blue smoke but then it stopped. Plugged it into computer and it said air flow mass meter and turbocharger.

Then when i came home i noticed this little puddle of oil under the range rover and its came from this MAF pipe which has a split in it.

It does sound as though it has shat a turbo

Time to take off the lower boost hoses, and check for oil...

You will probably find that 5e oil has drained itself from the air filter box, and the filter itself will be soaked with oil

No oil in air filter box. Whats the best way to go about replacing this MAF pipe its very tricky when i go down in to where the split is at a bend. Will try attach a picture of what i have at the minute.

THat pipe is one piece right around the bottom of the fan cowling. It’s not coming out...

Take the lower turbo hoses off and check for oil

I dont really know where to go from here, i need her for work etc. Been in the house since friday afternoon now Crying or Very sad .

Does that plastic pipe coming out of the MAF Sensor not run down into the side of the Turbo then?

and can it be bought new? Its weird the way the car has no power etc and that split is visible now due to the slight leak of oil.. Or is this possibly due to the bearings failed in the RHS turbo and this is oil running out of it.. i dont know and i will have to wait till tomorrow to my mechanic looks at it for me.

Hes just after doing a white RRS with 2 new turbos and it is a big job with body lifted and so on, what a silly silly design by Landrover!
