Interesting read that syd,,I might just put the middle box back on without the resonator & see what difference it make to sound & power,,it’s just that when I put the foot down in mine as I’m overtaking it shakes the car I’m passing Rolling with laughter

Nice sound. I hope that's steam! Sorry for reviving a fairly old thread. I'm looking at doing a similar mod on my 2009 5.0 SC. Love the rasp of Andy's but I reckon it'd be a bit loud for my neighbourhood. What's the difference sound-wise between a resonator delete and a centre box removal? Is there any?

Hi Bud i just had mine done 3 weeks ago at MIJ on my second RRS no problems i am very happy my TDV8 sounds like a petrol V8, everyone i know wants to know what i did to the car and they all comment on the new sound and look, please see my photos simular to Quick Silver but at the 1/4 of the price

Anyone think the resonator delete will cause issues at MOT time? Just been to my local exhaust place and they said they "can't" do the resonator delete, and even if they could, they wouldn't because it would probably fail the new MOT laws.

I’ve take the resonator & middle box off mine & it hasn’t affected the emissions,,it’s if you take t,he cats off it will fail.
