2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
2008 Range Rover Sport Diagnostic results

Hi guys got my car put on a friends diagnostic machine.... it’s come up with the following codes. Can some of the forum with technical knowledge point me in the right direction please?

1 parking sensors.. B1B57-11 front sensor power circuit
2 parking sensor B1B58-11 rear parking sensor power circuit
3 lost communication with parking assist control module U0159-87
4 lost communication with ride level control module U0132-87
5 forward looking sensor C1A67-96

I don’t have park sensors working on my car. I also do not have cruise control working?

Any advice would be great. Thanks to all.
Thumbs Up
Regards jim

Ignore the u codes for now you more than likely have a short to earth in the sensors try and unplug the front sensors first the plug is behind the front drivers headlight and then try it if the fault is still there try unplugging the rear sensors which is in the rear of the car on the passenger side i think Thumbs Up

Hi the ACC is fully clear. Is it worth taking off the front bumper to check for broken wires to the ACC unit?

i assume you have just got the car yes you can take the bumper off and make sure everything is connected up properly and no breaks in the wire but it will be worth spraying the screws at the bottom of the bumper as they tend to round off Thumbs Up

I am adding to a situation , I have with the same fault . Ok have used GAP to identity that the rear sensors are all detected and the front otherwise.
Random , this, everything been fine for a year.
If I can do a con check on the front sensors I can assume that one of the sensors are at fault . But if all sensors according to GAP are not detected then there must be a power supply problem . Unless if the paths taken are in series, then it may cause all to fail.
My question is that , is there another power supply junction other than behind drivers headlight, that I can check.
