France 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Getting first RRS tomorrow

Well after starting my research 12 months ago for a replacement car for my RR P38, I initially decided on going for a discovery 4 with a budget of about 18 to 20 k. I couldn't fund the vehicle until now which I am glad for because in the summer I was made aware that the RRS is virtually the same car but actually more suitable for my needs. The more I looked the more a switch to RRS was the right move and I am picking up a 2009 3.0 tdv6 HSE tomorrow morning. Only 43,000 miles with FSH and looks really tidy and clean.
Flying from France tonight and train to Kettering in the morning to inspect the car and pay the money if it is as described.
Will then drive the car in England for about 8/9 days and if any problems will go back to the dealers to rectify before returning to France.
Very excited for tomorrow and know how important this forum is considering I had the P38 for 4 years and their forum was invaluable.
Looking forward to many years of happy motoring with the odd swift kick in the bo Censored ks along the way which I am expecting from a Range Rover Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Sounds great. Get it booked into a LR Specialist for a full Health Check during your 8/9 days "test drive" We bought a 2006 model and a week later had a full health check and found it could "do with" £2,000 of "bits" to get it bang on.

Godders, good move. Hope you enjoy the car. Had mine 4 weeks now and really enjoying it.

Can I be cheeky? I'm plan a driving holiday to the Dordogne this summer in the RRS I can see your a resident- any recommendations on:
- which is best route/ ferry crossing. Looking for a relaxing drive.
- where would you stop over.
- where should we visit.

Planning being away for three weeks, so any suggestions gratefully received. 2017my RRS 2.0 SD4 HSE, Firenze red, black and panaroof
