Thoughts on parts..

Hopefully posting it in the right place,
Having now figured out what my annoying noise on the car is, I'm replacing the exhaust manifolds, joys of tdv8s.. Since the body needs raised I'm going to replace the two.
After looking around and pricing it seems mainly LR.. But online seen this site doing manifolds and also everything else... for a heck of alot cheaper. So wanted to know you guys thoughts or any one else reviews etc, britishparts.co.uk

Have your existing manifolds skimmed. Exactly the same as Td5, new will only warp again Thumbs Up

Make sure the cheaper parts are actually for the L320 RRS TDV8. The L322 FFRR TRDV8 uses different, and significantly cheaper, mainfolds. The FFRR manifolds won't work on the RRS. The RRS mainfolds are silly money. Big Cry 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Interesting one on the skimming...

Yeah they are for the RRS L320 too. I just don't know what to do.. 2008 HST TDV8 in Stornoway Grey.

work out the cost saving on manifolds

and compare that with the labour cost to lift body + gaskets to do the job a second time.

Yeah that's why I'm thinking of just going for the genuine ones or if can get original skimmed.. 2008 HST TDV8 in Stornoway Grey.
