Hi Buckster,

I am considering buying the compomotive wheels shortly. I am told I need to rotate the steel blocks bolted on to the caliper.

Did you have to do anything or the wheels just fit normally, what blocks are we talking about Embarassed .

I have normal brakes, not the Brembo ones.

Cheers,

Antonio

Hi Antonio,

As you dont have the brembos they will go straight on. Its only cars with Brembos that you need to rotate the blocks on.

Best regards

Hi Hodgie,

No my vehicle is an L320, i run 4 pot Brembo calipers and discs from an L320 4.2 Supercharged.

For your L494 i dont see any reason why the early Brembo 4 pot calipers and discs wouldn’t fit your car to enable you to run Compomotives, as all these calipers and discs seem interchangeable. Ie my friend ran L494 big 6 pot calipers on his L320 so no reason you couldn’t do it the other way around and down size the calipers & discs to allow you to run smaller wheels Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black
