England 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Fuji White
Supercharged

Evening all, this is my second post on the forum. I’m looking at a 2011 supercharged RRS that looks tidy (a few issues). My questions are, did all the Auto biography sports come with command shift as standard as I don’t see any paddles in the photos? And What problems or items, if any, would a car with 60,000 miles need checking before I commit to purchasing?

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome they all have command shift all you do is move the gear lever across not sure if all were fitted with paddles but they can be retro fitted as to the other items make sure that all the electrics work make sure all the servicing is complete and up to date and listen for any noises from underneath such as knocking or the epb screech front wishbones and i'm sure the other's will add to this Thumbs Up

I think all A/B's had the Paddle's fitted as standard. I believe some of the earlier 5.0L S/C engines had issues with supercharger nose cone bearings, and also worn timing chain guides. Not sure how common this was, if there is any rattling, clicking/knocking noise from engine I would be slightly wary, as generally the engine is quite quiet. Apart from that car just suffers the usual RRS things like worn bushes etc.

Cheers
Col

Thanks for the replies gents, I scrutinised the photos and I think I’ve seen a paddle with + on it so I’m confident it has paddle shift. I just need to go and see it now and see if it’s as good in real life.
