United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Arctic Frost
Brembo Calipers refurb

Thought I'd share these pics of the refurb I did on these Brembo Calipers, filled the gouges with metal filler and sanded back to a smooth finish, scrubbed the remaining areas with white spirit and green scrubbing pads

I bought a painting kit from a website who supply various shades to manufactures which guaranteed the correct colour, the kit came with paint and a hardner which you mix, there is enough for 4 Calipers easily

Use the degrease included, add a coat of paint then wait 45mins before applying the 2nd coat the leave for 8hrs

Bought high temperature decals off eBay, so the materials in all cost about £50 to £60 plus the cost of the Calipers

I bought the pair with dust shields and brake hoses as this is the only difference from HSE spec apparently, other than different pads which were also included with a few mm of wear

Just need larger discs to get them fitted now

Hope this helps anyone planning to do the same

Thanks Very Happy

Forgot to say - you literally paint it on with a paintbrush and it dries smooth with no brush lines

See link below, other colours are available

Disco mikey, are the brake discs EBC and is it on a supercharged??

Looking to change mine on the s/c soon and torn between drilled / grooved and standard. It stops well but I cant help feel some braided hoses / drilled groved discs may help? Yet when I research everyone recommends standard?

These were 14 months old, approx 12k miles, and removed as they had warped
Ditched them and went for normal discs...

was just going to say can you use it while there still on the car, ive some massive tired looking amg cabipers on my ml63, got quotes to have them proffessionally done but while the price was around £250 i read bad press re using non oem seal kits to rebuild them and also the hassle of getting them all removed/ re fitted
