GAP Insurance...

Anyone or using these for their GAP insurance?

https://www.directgap.co.uk/

They claim to beat any other quote you have, and came back with a good price for my pending new car. Very Happy

I took out a policy with ALA too, very easy and there is a code somewhere on this site for a further discount. Note you can't use the discount code if you go through TopCashback or similar Wink

PS Code is GAP15, but might be GAP16 now...

I need to think about getting Gap insurance sorted out for when I take delivery of my new car. Are other brokers / insurers still more competitive than the Gap insurance Land Rover offer and if they are, Can anybody suggest any who are currently competitive?

Thanks

Hi, yes I will try the ones mentioned in this topic. I was just checking if anybody has found any competitive quotes recently as the posts here are pretty old and insurers change their rating parameters quite frequently.

How long are you buying GAP for?

Many insurers offer a new replacement for a new car written off in the first 12 months, some (NFU, SAGA) offer it for 24 months. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB
Evoque MY17 TD4 AB

ALA are certainly good on price. They just quoted me £435 v £950 from Land Rovers Finance for a MY18 SVR.

Have just taken out 4 YEAR GAP Insurance with Warranty Direct (£40000 Cover for Car replacement) against my new Sport.

Cost was £283 . Seems like a reasonable price?
