If it has reflectors here then it’s not uk spec

And the indicator doesn’t work on uk cars I tried one on mine and it put the brake light on instead of indicator

That's a good point, do the reflectors face rewards? Thats an MOT requirement IIRC, ie, rear red reflectors.

Rear reflectors are at the bottom by the exhausts - i.e. don't have to be part of the light lens.

Correct reflectors on uk cars are on the the bumper facing rear wards

Reflectors on the non Uk spec lamps that are being sold on eBay have reflectors on the side I assume either EU or US Spec

You can see here both versions top Uk bottom US EU

I think the important point is if you are going to upgrade a UK spec car check it does Not have the reflectors or it will not work

Both versions are being sold on eBay as plug and play so you could easlly get the wrong part for your car

I need the EU spec version with the reflector but I can't find an eBay auction or the part numbers. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
Do you have any solution for me ?
I have the version without reflector but when i plug them in everything work good. After 5 minutes, indicators stop working like if the vehicule detect a fault. If i let them few minutes it come back again for few minutes and stop working again
Thank you

Hi

Not sure the reason I did read somewhere when I bought them the My17 was certainly plug and play but no guarantee on earlier models

They work perfectly on mine only issue is the lack of the Audi sweep that obviously is a software issue

I’m not sure if there is a software issue on earlier models although the lamp units look the same

Hope you find a solution as they look great when they work

I have recently done this on my 2017 model. Its simply a plug and play on all models from 2016 onwards. Anything previous uyou need to mess with the pins or buy a cable.

The rear is a simple straight swap and if anyone is looking for any i have a few uk 2018 led spare sets.

THe front requires a new grill bumper and wings. I have brand new set of the front matrix led headlights f anyone wants one to do the conversion. I cannot be bothered to do all the changes hence the sale

I cant upload a photo on this website otherwise i would have shown my car.

Hi while the rear is plug and play for my16 onwards, doesnt the front need extensive wiring modification? Also what u meant by wing? R u referring to front bumper?

Yes the front lights are different and require a new grill and bumper and I also believe new side wings are necessary. There is also some wiring that needs to be done to.

I have a 2014. What is involved in swapping the rear lights out (I have seen references to "you need resistors" but nothing more than that or specific specs which wires instructions or a how to. Anyone know . ? !)
