Netherlands 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue
2005 4.2 SC or 2007 4.4

After 4 years of having a D3 it is time for something else. Due to yearly mileage and Dutch taxes a petrol engine is more suitable this time.

So I have been looking at these 2 options, a 4.2 SC First Edition from 2005 with 90.000 miles and a 4.4 from 2007 with 70.000 miles. Prices are roughly the same.

Both dealer maintained and full service records available and both have the exact same options.

So, SC or 4.4? 2005 vs 2007. And orange vs black...

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Go for the 4.2 s/c First Edition over the 4.4 - fuel consumption is the same in both but the S/C is better equipped and more fun. Also only 300 Vesuvius Orange First Editions were sold worldwide so it’s a bit special, it also has the dynamic Response handling pack and Brembo Brakes as Standard which the 4.4 HSE had as options........
With either be prepared to be a friend of your local fuel station though, 15mpg on a good day means a tankful doesn’t last very long! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
