Can you get front and rear mud flaps for MY17 SVR?

I’ve done a search but can only find a thread going back to last Feb with no definite answer (unless I’m reading it wrong). I also have the complication of deployable side steps - and I don’t know if their presence is causing more muck to be splattered onto the bodywork?

This is the first time I’ve had the steps (not by choice, they came already fitted), and the first time I’ve not had mudflaps from day one, but I’d say there is more splattering on the paintwork than on my previous HSE Dynamic (I guess it my driving style could be contributing Embarassed )

If they are available I’ll be getting the dealer to fit them so no instructions necessary, just be useful to know if they are available and can be fitted.

Thanks.

I’m sure these are available, genuine LR ones, sometimes with Steps you may need to slightly adapt.
I would suggest sending a PM/eMail to Duckworth Parts one of our sponsors on here, and I’m sure he will confirm if available and get them for you with a small saving to. Wink John

Good option but having just driven the length of the UK on damp and salted motorways they don’t do very much to keep the rear of the car clean - suggest that you opt for the extra washer bottle capacity instead ( and it is cheaper at £38.). Even the front ones don’t stop a lot of muck going up onto the front doors 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Why would you want mudflaps on a sports car.

They look so fugly.

Seriously just pay some one to clean your car or move to a climate where the car doesn't get dirty

Just FYI I did get mudflaps fitted, and by all accounts they were a bit of a nightmare for the dealer to fit. The first set weren't quite right, re lining up, so they had to order a second set (possible quality control issues or mis supply).

The second set went on much easier I'm told, but still tricky with the 22" wheels and side step. They do look nice and neat now and mud splatter has been reduced significantly.

HTH.
