Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Firenze Red

I just had a drive of my wife's Evoque, and the wipers stayed up the window in an annoying position, is it intended to set the winter park position to normal for driving, then setting to winter park when finished? I can see that never getting used again if so. 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine

So long as you have the auto-on disabled the blades are completely on the heated screen on L494’s and Evoques, probably the same on Disco Sport and D5 too whereas on L320,IIRC, the wipers park higher up the screen than on L494 and are partly on the heated screen. It isn’t such a hassle to enable and disable the winter park mode once you are used to it - problem is I keep forgetting to disable the auto-on so as soon as the starter is pressed the wipers grate across the screen anyway....... might as well not have the winter park when that happens. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

So it's just a few inches up?

Would be cool if it moved up when you shut the car off.

So, as an outsider (so to speak) looking in on this winter park facility as I don’t have it on mine, perhaps it would have been better for the programmer to include a temperature sensing read out which would disable auto wipe mode if the temperature was below say +3C at start up. Question Robin

More than a few inches, probably nearer a 3rd way up. I assumed it would go up just when shutting the car down, but it'd need to be on a timer or something before it went back down, easy enough I guess when the heated screen auto activates at low temperature so a timer would ensure it was defrosted before parking.
