QUESTION REGARDING BATTERY REPLACEMENT

hi,

Im new to this and also new to having a RRS. I have recently purchased a RRS 2010 TDV8 and have had a few gremlins. I took it back to the garage i purchased it from and the errors were coiming up with low voltage warning. They therefore said that they put in a brand new battery. My question is, when i picked it up all my preset radio stations were still there, my memory seats were still set and my sat nav still had my destinations in. would this suggest that they never replaced the battery or does it save all this info somehow?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

It retains all that.

The clock and bass treble settings are the giveaway.

Only things you loose with changing battery on a facelift is clock on dash will revert to 2009 but that might be if you change the CCF files if I remember correctly, the analogue clock time, one touch window operation and I think sunroof closing but all simple to reset.

Cheers
Col
