checking auto level headlights?

Hey all.
Is there anyway to check the auto level units on the head lights of an old shape 2012 RRS. Fed up of folk flashing me thinking my lights are in full beam when they are not.

Thanks

Rod

It's generally when you have the BI Xenon type headlights fitted, due to the colour of light and output of these type, many do flash you wrongly, thinking they are on high, a return high beam flash soon corrects that error. Whistle

You can get the height checked at most garages, and of course at MOT / Service time.

To check they are not firing to high or otherwise, just drive up towards your garage door, put the lights on and check neither are aiming to high, check high and low beam, (cornering, and fog/driving lights to), if both main ones are the same, would generally indicate ok, although the self levelling can have a occasional glitch. Also check that no one has altered lights by moving lever for continental use.

I'm sure others will have further suggestions later. John

Maybe you have cheap fake bulbs.

There was a programme on bbc1 this week.
About them. Fake Britain

I've been driving around in my small car for the last month and these 4x4 with hids are a bit if a pain in the rear view mirror.
Dipping the mirror sorts it.

Hi,
One of swmbo’s main complaints “I’ve been flashed again 😳 “
Had the level checked at every MOT and each service and always spot on, got a RRS2 now and don’t get flashed now, as there not quite as good, good just not very, very good.

There are some adjusting screws on the back of the lights from memory if you need to lower them. Porsche Cayenne 2022

gone Corris Grey HSE Dynamic 2016
gone Ipanema HSE lux 2010
gone Rimini HSE 2005

I got a good look at the lights today and found the passenger side one set for Europe while the drivers side one was set for UK. Very strange.

As far as know the car has never been abroad.
Will see what difference it makes.

Thanks all.
