Wales 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Sumatra Black
Driven for first time again today.

Well, after just over 7 months, I finally got to drive my lovely RRS again today, just over a mile each way, down onto local beach so I could practice a bit, and do off road down steep loose stones onto sands. Very Happy
My Physiotherapist was present checking how I was coping, and only one, but important, point reared its head and that is I cannot turn right around to look behind me, due to amount of pain still and shoulder I presume still not being fully repaired. So now I have medical permission and DVLA informed, I hope to slowly get back to driving more and longer distances. It felt great to be back after all this time, since my accident, and means things should slowly continue to get back to normal. I'm ahead of schedule by 6 months and know I'll still have a lot of pain, and putting wheeled walker into back, isn't the easiest thing in the world to do............but I'm driving and that's the main thing and so happy to be driving, even if only short distances for a while.

May I also thank all the members that have been in touch since my accident, and thank you all for your kind thoughts and words. Thanks all. Thumbs Up John

Thanks everyone for your posts, I know I mustn’t overdo the daily Physio sessions, and other programs I’m on, plus the resting more, main target now is, I still have to concentrate on learning to walk again properly or as best that I can, it just seems such a long time with still lots of pain even with the high Morphine dosage I’m on, and I was getting very bored looking at the bedroom and hospital walls. Rolling Eyes

Yes tyrefitter, that sounds a grand idea, I’ll take you up on that. Thumbs Up John
