2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

A completely different car but a friend's BMW had similar symptoms and asked my opinion. It would run for hours without overheating and then overheat just sitting in traffic. I suggested a blocked radiator.

After he had spent a fortune on having the head removed and changing the thermostat with no improvement it turned out to be a blocked radiator

Treat yourself to to a IID Bluetooth version and read codes and monitor live temperature values? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
