2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

And I wouldn’t mind betting that Land Rover will still not acknowledge that they have a reliability problem.........and will do nothing to fix the image problem that they are getting. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

They have had it too easy for too long, they need a horrible dip in sales (not that I've helped) that will force them to get their act together..

Petrol engined RRS’s don’t get mentioned in the report, it’s only the diesels that they comment on! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Perhaps petrol are too new or not enough owners yet to include Confused

I let heart rule head because I was so impressed by first 6 LRs but in the end I had to give up - LR have lost the plot and relying on new sales instead of repeat business is only going to work so long imho but time will tell who's right Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

On the other hand I owned volvos for years and we're terrible genuinely, my last one was rejected!! I would place them way up with land rover. MY18 SCV8 Satin flux silver

I’m quite surprised when I read of people’s horror stories with their cars I believe I must be extremely lucky Shocked

I’ve owned RRS’ 2.7 diesel, 4.2 Supercharged, 5.0 Supercharged and now my SVR and to be totally honest on the earlier cars the suspension bushes required replacement at an alarming regularity but I haven’t had an engine or electrical problem which has taken me off the road at all with any of them. My SVR has had a problem with squeaky brakes, which seems to be inherent across the newer models, which was sorted and a fuel indication blip, cured by software but that’s about it.......
Censored, I may be tempting fate now Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

I have had my 2010 V8 RRS HSE Lux since July and as my daily driver, I have racked up almost 5000 miles. I think the front brakes are getting close to needing to be replaced, I will probably do rear as well. But that’s wear and tear from city driving and some fast blasts in the country + previous owner use. The car is just coming up 64k miles and has become the new family favourite. I am enjoying it way more than I had imagined and so far it hasn’t missed a beat.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I'm considering flogging my 06 and getting a 3 yr old one after xmas. Reading stuff like this keeps putting me off. Shelling out £40k for a lemon doesn't seem too appealing if I'm honest. Big Cry

Although might it be the case that the first owner of a 3 yr old car has done his time having it towed to the dealer once a fortnight and it's all fixed now? But reading above, if the dealers are so bad, one like mine that never saw a dealer from new might be why mine seems to mostly work nowadays.

I read up on Bentleys but they seem even more unreliable.

I'd prefer a four wheel drive that worked, isnt naff or Japanese. Where to go? One of those Audi Q jobbies?

I never had these discussions when I was driving 126 Mercs or Volvo 940s. Back then, good stuff just seemed to work. I gave up on Mercs about a decade or so ago. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

Spiffing wheel centre caps available

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

Hope so Paul,,at least it had full LR service history,,I’m just glad I took it to Hatfields for its last service instead of doing it myself as that could have been their way to get out of paying,,,,it’s time like this when I’m glad I buy from LR dealers with approved warranty.i wouldn’t be happy buying one from a none LR dealer & having a problem like this & getting a 10-14k bill.
