Clock on dash disappeared

Had a few updates by bodsy a few months ago, one of which was the clock added in the dash. Cars been in a local garage for a few weeks having some issues rectified, got it back now the clock has vanished, replaced with . . : . .
Is there anything i can do to set the time again or do i need bodsy to plug his machine in again? Have set the clock in the sterio up and has not made any difference.
Cheers

Not sure if it will work and I am no expert but I have just bought a IID BT tool to add clock to dash and noticed that it only sets at 00:00 so maybe worth disconnecting the battery tonight just before midnight for a few minutes and reconnecting it to see if the clock sets the time.
It sounds like it is still there, just not set.
Would be interested to hear the solution.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

I just found this on the Gap Diagnostic IID tool manual. Seems like it might need a reset with the tool;

4.7.11 All ECUs
Vehicle Reset (L322-10, L319, L320)
This routine will send a reset or reboot command to all ECU’s. It is equivalent to a soft reset.
Usage
On L319-04, it should be used to restore the clock on the instrument pack ECU (--:-- displayed). It can
also be used to solve other unusual issues.
Note : This function will return all user settings (radio station etc) to factory default.

So maybe if you don't have the tool, disconnecting the battery might work as a soft reset.

Good luck! 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

It can happen when the battery is low. The ecu gets drained of power and they start up in the ‘wrong’ order. The instrument pack syncs to the radio for the time and it misses that signal order.

Charge the battery up and then remove the battery terminals from the battery and hold them together for 10-20 seconds.

Once reconnected, reset the time and away you go.

It’s always due to low battery. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Is it possible to set the clock time with IID tool ?

Clock is displayed but wrong time as have an aftermarket radio, I know I could do a midnight reset but now have an IID tool and wondered if I could sort with it? TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten
