New AB SDV8 - a couple of questions

Just taken delivery of a new RRS AB SDV8 and the seat/steering wheel doesnt seem to tilt away when you open the drivers door as my old 2014 SDV6 HSE used to. Can't find anything in the menus about this. Has this been deleted on new models?

Also the satnav screen is driving me nuts zooming in and out for no apparent reason even with no destination set. Is there any way of stopping that? Is there any way of changing the satnav screen graphics? I'm finding the pale green graphics harder to read at a glance than the old satnav graphics

Apart from that, I see that the legendary Brummie build quality continues not to improve. The piece of aluminium trim on the drivers side of the centre console on my car is so far out of position that it covers one of the switches so its back to the dealer already. How PDI misses stuff like that is beyond me

The knob you use to adjust the steering column has a roatary function also. Check that the knob is turned to 'auto' and that enables the wheel/seat to move to the entry position you require.

Hope that helps 2017 SDV6 Autobiography; Carpathian Grey, Ivory, Soft Close, Extended Grand Black.
