My understanding is:
SDV6 needs ECU opening
TDV6 doesn't and can be done via OBD
But clarify what year you are asking about and the pros on here will confirm route
Or just call Alive or BAS Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

According to the ALIVE website, you can map the 190ps 2.7 TDV6 which is the one that the OP has.

But he is asking about the 3.0 tdv6 not the 2.7 but as DrRob says let him tell which before we all start speculating and throwing things back and forth Thumbs Up

Yes had my 5.0L S/C done about 18 months ago by Alive, had S/C pulley up-graded as well. 560-580 bhp and 749.9Nm torque. The torque was Dyno reading. The Bhp was their estimate based on graph reading from dyno. as I think the engine ecu was restricting them getting accurate reading in someway or something like that, can't really remember exactly the reasons.

Apologies to OP for deviating from original question.

Cheers
Col

I believe the only 3.0 that can be done by OBD currently is the 16MY, possibly 15MY...

Currently, everything else is a bench job Thumbs Up

Yes alive just confirmed this, they are also quite exspensive compared to the local tuning companies . I would have traveled and paid for an obd tune but it’s it possible. There is a quantum dealer in hull and his prices are very reasonable

Thanks for the input

I wouldnt trust any local cheap company! You get what you pay for and Alive and BAS have a long proven track record playing with LandRovers.
