Hi people , just about to purchase my RRS and cant find a decent warranty so im going to shell out for the land rover one . Im trying to do it online but just states there is no package available for the car . i know i need to take it to a dealer for the health check but can i not sort it out online ? cheers

How old is the car?

Had the same for mine. 2010 AB with 72,000 - no packages available apparently.

You need to book it in for a health check,about £80-£90 when I had a se done then if all ok you can put a LR warranty on it,I’m sure they start at about £850 upwards depending what cover you need.

There is three LR warranties, the best one won’t be available to you unless you purchase from a Land Rover Dealership, and the car is an Approved car. This gives 2 Years Warranty, 12 months MOT warranty, 7 days LR insurance cover, half day off road driving course, 165 point vehicle check etc.

The main one when above runs out, for additional years, or for cars that meet a certain standard, (at a charge around £85and must use LR parts) they must have covered a maximum of 100,000 lies, and have a full service history. You also get with this cover a MOT warranty against failures of certain things, you also have the option of European Recovery/Breakdown service through LR. The cover limit is the purchase cost of car, I thoroughly recommend this cover, if you can’t get the one above. Cost is £1100+ PA.

The last one offers much less cover, and a limit to amount of claims, with several major items not covered. It is the cheapest but I couldn’t recommend it.
