Does access & extended mode still work - try whilst stationary - see if there is a noisy compressor it's positioned under the RRS in front of the rear passenger side rear wheel. It's strange it's highlighted on start up without any other obvious faults Crying or Very sad

Hi All

i have same problem in my 2 week old car
2015 model started car and RED warning came up saying SUSPENSION FAULT...
called receovery and they said fine to drive and take it to dealer next day.
next day all was fine for about 20 mins then the FAULTY VEHICLE LEAN orange sign came up - drives fine though
car currently with JLR - awaiting news.
really frustrating how a brand new car has developed this.
any ideas anyone? is this minor electrical thing ? wiring issue? seeing that everything else sounds normal.

thoughts welcome
am so gutted

Would like to bump this post again if possible.

The wife just called me on the school run and had a message come up with orange light saying. Suspension fault vehicle lean when cornering. She said the car was driving fine. This happened as soon as she pulled out of the drive. (Our drive pulls out on a really steep hill).

Turned on and off and everything fine. Does anyone have any advice?

I have notice the compressor is quit noisy when you turn the car on and then stops once level is set. I will try extending it and lowering it later to see if any faults come up.

In the meantime what could I look into it being?

08 3.6 TDV8

Thanks all

Update: did about 50miles yesterday and the fault did not happen again. Did see a few people report a similar problem which acures a couple times a year with not problems actually evolving.

So is anyone able to tell me how noisy the compressor is meant to be? Mine is pretty loud.

Cheers

In my experience compressor failure is a gradual process - mine took a few months to fail completely Big Cry I would describe the noise as a bag of ball bearings rattling not deafening but certainly noticeable Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

It's probably an issue with the Dynamic Response system (hydraulic anti roll bars). Check the level in the reservoir - it's the one behind the driver's side headlight. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Did you get rid of the Suspension fault vehicle lean when cornering message?

I have this same issue for a number of weeks now and cannot for the life of me get to the bottom of what is causing it. The central locking switches on, hazards flashing constantly, radio, heaters switch off, then everything just switches back on whenever it feels like it.

I have checked all the usual suspects, brake light switch, bulbs, battery etc;etc; but the issue seems to go away for a while then reappears. RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey

do you have active suspension? if so you will have a yellow top bottle to the left hand side of the radiator. check the level of the fluid is above minimum...

Yes indeed... Thumbs Up

Fluid is at the correct level. I was going to have a closer look at the air suspension control module. I believe this is situated on drivers side bolted at about knee level., does that sound about right?

Yes this is a nightmare of a problem, all seems OK one minute with no lights at all on the dash then I hear the dreaded doors locking and the hazards go mental, not good for the nerves Big Cry RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey
