My dealer is also saying that MY17 orders are closed.

Anyone know how long they usually stay closed for?

Thanks

I suspect that all it means is that any orders now will be MY18 cars.

They never actually stop taking orders................ MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Wales 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Sumatra Black

Quite correct Wilf, orders for customer selected options etc for RRS MY17 is now closed and orders are for MY18.
You can of course still get a brand new MY17, still plenty around, but you won't be able to order alterations, additions like normal when ordering new, as they haven't normally started to build your car, but all remaining MY17, are all already completely built. So it's then a question of tracing as near as you can the Spec/Colour etc of car you want through your dealer. John

So if 2017my production has finished and 2018my car will begin delivery in February what will the production line do to fill their gap, just produce more D5 and RR?

Given there is are no jobs scheduled for the RRS in 2018, does that suggest no MY18.5 and the changes spotted on disguised cars will be done in one go?

Does it also mean we will not know of the changes until November? TIA. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

I suspect MY17 production continues. It is just that you can no longer order one if it isn't already in the build schedule between now and November. Plus don't forget that export markets take the majority of production anyway. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

The vented carbon bonnet (fully painted) is standard but having the bare weave is the option
